dc.description.abstractThe study examined the relationship between organizational culture, occupational stress and job commitment among employee of Migeera town council Nakasongola -Uganda it was guided by the following objectives; to find out whether organisational culture and occupational stress among the employees of Migeera Town Council Nakasongola –Uganda are related, to establish the relationship between occupational stress and job commitment a monger employees of Migeera Town Council Nakasongola –Uganda, to examine the relationship between organizational culture and job commitment among employees of Migeera Town Council Nakasongola –Uganda. The first Finding showed that (r=.749**, p=.000). Since the value of p (.000) is less in magnitude than the level of significance 0.01, the alternative hypothesis was retained and concluded that there is a significant relationship between organizational culture and occupational stress. The second finding stated that there is significant relationship between organizational culture and job commitment. Since the value of (p=.000) is less in magnitude than the level of significance 0.01, the alternative hypothesis was retained and concluded that, organizational culture and job commitment are significantly related. The third finding show that, Since the value of p (.000) is less in magnitude than the level of significance of 0.01, the alternative hypothesis was then retained and concluded that there is significant relationship between occupational stress and job commitment. The study adopted the correlation study design which was used to correct data with self-administered questionnaires. The researcher sampled 132 respondents from the study area. Data was analyzed using SPSS and Pearson Correlation coefficients were used to test the hypothesis. The following recommendations were made by the researcher with regard to the findings of the study.en_US
