dc.description.abstractThe study sought to identify the relationship between marital status, drug abuse and depression among women in Lukuli, Nganda. The research was quantitative in nature and participants were selected using simple random technique, questionnaires were distributed to a sample of the women. The study involved a critical review of the existing literature which was obtained through internet, journals, articles and library books. The raw data was captured from completed questionnaire sheets entered into Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) for analysis. Frequencies and percentages were used for descriptive statistics and the hypothesis were tested using the Pearson Correlation Co-efficient (Hi) and Avova. In the study it was observed that there is a significant difference between marital status and depression, there was a significant relationship between drug abuse and depression among women in Lukali Nanganda. The results revealed there was a significant difference between marital status and depression as well as a significant relationship between drug abuse and depressionen_US
