dc.description.abstractThe study aimed at examining the relationship between parenting style, self-esteem and juvenile delinquency among adolescents. A sample of 115 adolescents between 11 to 19 years of age both boys and girls within in Wakiso District was obtained. Data was collected using a combination of self-administered questionnaires for assessing socio-demographics, parenting style, self-esteem and juvenile delinquency by the researcher. Data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS) version 23. Findings indicated that, there was a significant positive relationship between parenting style and self-esteem among adolescents; there was a significant negative relationship between parenting style and juvenile delinquency among adolescents. Lastly, there was no significant relationship between self-esteem and juvenile delinquency among adolescentsen_US
