dc.description.abstractThe study sought to find out the relationship between organisational commitment, Job satisfaction and Turnover intentions amongst employees in Kinyara Sugar Limited, Masindi District. The study adopted a correlation study design as well as use of descriptive statistics to determine the extent to which a relationship exists between organisational commitment, job satisfaction and turnover intentions. A target population of approximately 100 employees from different departments within the organisation was used as reference to draw out 83 respondents both male and female as a sample. Descriptive statistics showed 69% of the respondents were male and 31% were female, majority were between 18-30 years (56.6%). Pearson product correlation coefficient (r) was used to test hypotheses and it was found that there is a significant relationship between organisational commitment and job satisfaction ( r =.225, p =.041), there is no significant relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intentions ( r =-.002, p =.989), there is no significant relationship between organisational commitment and turnover intentions ( r =-.002, p =.989). Employers are recommended to provide conducive work environments to employees and as well provide work benefits to them. This can boost their commitment to the organisation and hence reduce their turnover.en_US
