dc.description.abstractThe major purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between stress, anxiety and depression among employed Makerere University students at the school of social sciences. The population of the study was 85 and the sample size 65 participants. A correlational research design was adopted and data was analyzed using a Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS) and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (r) to establish whether the variables were correlated. The findings of the study showed that there is no significant relationship between stress and anxiety. A no significant relationship between anxiety and depression. A significant relationship between stress and depression. The study recommended that Makerere University should device means of helping the students especially the employed students on how to cope with stress levels as well as find out the stressors and provide measures to them hence overcoming the final cause: depression.en_US
