dc.description.abstractThe study aimed at examining the relationship between job rotation on motivation and job performance among employees of Uganda Red Cross Society-East Branch. The study adopted a correlational research design. Simple random sampling technique was used to select a sample of 80 respondents from the population. Data was collected from respondents using self-administered standard questionnaires and through entering fully filled questionnaires into computer software program called Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 23, data was analyzed. Results from Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient (r) indicated that there was a significant positive relationship between job rotation and motivation; there was a significant positive relationship between job rotation and job performance. There was a significant positive relationship between motivation and job performance. Basing on the findings, it is recommended that, rotation decisions should be made by the employee’s opinions and taken together and thus the rotation decision will be accepted more easily. When the employee embarks on the path of rotation willingly and consciously, they will share the responsibility at the point of development of management skills, be motivated and their performance will improve.en_US
