This research examined the relationship between occupational stress, job satisfaction and organizational commitment among employees. A correlational design was adopted to establish the relationship between the variables. A total of 341 respondents participated in the study. Simple random sampling was used. The researcher used self-administered questionnaires to collect information from the respondents. Statistical package for social scientists (SPSS) was used for data analysis, where Pearson correlation Coefficient (r) was used to test the hypothesis. The study revealed that there is positive significant relationship between organizational commitment and job satisfaction (r=.578, p=.000<0.01). However, the study also revealed that there is no significant relationship between job satisfaction and occupational stress (r= -.012, p= .832>0.01), many organizations in Uganda are increasingly facing the problem of Low satisfaction among employees which could result to low commitment within the organization thus leading them to incurring high costs.
