dc.description.abstractThe research examined the relationship between Self Esteem, Substance Abuse and Depression among University Adolescent. The study was carried out in Makerere University among the year ones of Community Psychology. The respondents were 100 aged 18_25 years in the study.The participants were selected by use of simple random sampling technique and data was collected by use of self-administered questionnaires addressing self-esteem, substance abuse and depression which was analyzed by use of Statically Package for Social Sciences (SPSS, version 21). Spear man Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (rs) was used to test the significance of the hypothesis. The study shows that there is no significant relationship between Self Esteem and Substance Abuse among adolescents, there is no significant relationship between Self-esteem and Depression among adolescents, there is no significant relationship between Substance Abuse and Depression among adolescents.en_US
