    Abstract
    The study investigated the relationship between self-esteem stress and job performance among the employees of SCOUL sugar factory. The study was intended to achieve the following objectives; to examine the relationship between self-esteem and stress, self-esteem and job performance and stress and job performance. Low self-esteem can lead to psychological effects that cause a person to be more susceptible to stressful situations consistent stress can gradually lessen a health self-esteem over time as well. This interaction between self-esteem and stress is often more dramatic and destructive in people with low-er self-esteem. A correlation study was used in the study to examine the relationship between self-esteem, stress and job performance among the employees of SCOUL sugar factory and data was analyzed using SPSS Version 21. Findings of the study revealed that self-esteem, stress and job performance are related. Recommendations of the study included organizations should reduce and eliminate stress from workplaces as a way to improve job performance at organizational level.
