dc.description.abstractThis study investigated the levels and relationship between job involvement and job satisfaction among secondary school teachers in five (5) secondary schools around Makerere University. A total of 50 participants comprising thirty one (31) male and nineteen (19) female teachers were drawn using simple random sampling. They were between the ages of 25-59 years. Data was collected using a self-administered questionnaire with scales measuring job involvement and job satisfaction .data was analyzed by computer using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). The respondents’ bio- data was analyzed using frequency counts and percentages. The relationship between the variables was analyzed u sing Pearson’s product moment correlation co efficient (r). The results from the study revealed that there are high levels of job involvement and moderate levels of satisfaction among secondary school teachers and there was a positive and significant relationship between job involvement and job satisfaction.en_US
