    Abstract
    The main purpose of the study is to assess mental health among cancer patients in Uganda. Specific objectives are; To assess the level of stress, anxiety and depression among cancer patients. To assess the relationship between stress and anxiety among cancer patients. To assess the relationship between stress and depression among cancer patients. To assess the relationship between, anxiety and depression, between anxiety and depression among cancer patients. The study will be conducted among the patients at Uganda Cancer Institute (UCI). The UCI is a public entity, specialized tertiary care medical facility owned by the Uganda Ministry of Health. The precise location of this facility is along Upper Mulago Hill road in Kawempe Division, Kampala. This is where the study will be conducted from, amongst cancer patients at the institute.
