dc.description.abstractA study entitled quality of life, psychological wellbeing and employee work performance: a case of Kitagata Hospital, Sheema. Most of the organizations in Uganda still force many hardships especially in meeting their performance requirements. The work performance is still low and this may be attributed to a number of factors which include the quality of life. Quality of life depends on external factors. Good living conditions or circumstances well determine high quality of life but if these conditions vary, the individual’s satisfaction with his or her work performance at work will vary to. The study sought to explore the aspects of quality of life, psychological wellbeing and work performance among employees of Kitagata Hospital. The research study was conducted in Kitagata hospital, particularly among employees of Kitagata hospital. The study focused on quality of life, psychological wellbeing and work performance among employees. A sample of 50 respondents were selected, simple random sampling technique was used. For selection so that all respondents were given an equal chance to participate in the study. Results from this study indicated that there is a significant relationship between employee quality of life and psychological wellbeing of employees of Kitagata Hospital whereby better quality of life led to improved psychological wellbeing of employees. The study findings further found a significant relationship between quality of life and employee work performance. This further indicates that employees with very good quality of life will showcase better work performance as compared to others. Lastly the results revealed that there was a significant relationship between psychological wellbeing and employee work performance. This indicated that employees who have a very good psychological wellbeing perform better at work.en_US
