To examine whether there is a significance relationship between drug abuse and delinquency among adolescents in Bwaise slums, Kawempe division and to ascertain whether there is a significance relationship between stress and delinquency among adolescents in Bwaise, Kawempe division. The researcher employed a simple random sampling technique to recruit participants in the study. This was obtained due to many adolescents not willing to expose themselves that they had been involving in drug abuse. Table 2 shows that r = 0.068 and the P=0.503. Since the P Value (0.503>0.05) the level of significance, it is concluded that there is no significant relationship between stress and drug abuse. Table 3 shows that r= -0.206 and the P=-0.040. Since the P Value (0.040<.05) the level of significance, it is concluded that there is a significant relationship between drug abuse and delinquency. Table 4 shows that r = -0.251 and the P=0.012. Since the P Value (0.012<.05) the level of significance, it is concluded that there is significance relationship between stress and delinquency. The researcher recommended that; Sensitization should be promoted by Government or non-governmental organization so that adolescents who are involved in drug abuse be taught on how the danger of drug use and life skills practices, reproductive health education should be encouraged and promoted in families where adolescents come from as well as schools in order to fight drug use related delinquent behavior among students.
