dc.description.abstract | This is a summary of the content in this research dissertation titled breach of the psychological contract, employee engagement , and turnover intentions a case study of employees in St. Andrea Kaahwa Comprehensive schools Kooki. The study is aimed at examining the relationship between breach of the psychological contract, employee engagement, and turnover intentions. It is summarized in chapters as seen below. Chapter one introduces the research work. It gives the background, problem statement, purpose of the study, objectives of the study, scope of the study, significance of the study, and then finally the conceptual framework. Chapter two gives details on the variables (literature review), and then the hypothesis of the study. Chapter three contains the methodology. It presents the research design, the population of the study, the sample size and selection, instruments and measurements that were used by the researcher, the procedure of data collection, quality control, data management and analysis, ethical issues/considerations, and limitations. Chapter four presents the findings of the study. The findings indicated that; there is a negative relationship between psychological contract breach and employee engagement, employee engagement and turnover intentions are negatively and significantly related, psychological contract breach and turnover intentions are positively and significantly related. Chapter five details the discussion, conclusions, recommendations, and areas for further research studies. | en_US |
