dc.description.abstractThe current study seeks to investigate the correlation between child abuse, psychological distress and juvenile delinquency among inmates at Naguru Remand Home. Juvenile delinquency is of great societal concern and need to explore factors that may be the cause is of paramount importance. Although psychological distress has been studied among justice-involved youth, few studies have examined its intermediate role between child abuse and delinquency. My research content will consist of the following chapters; chapter one is the introduction and explores the background, problem statement, purpose of the study, objectives, scope, significance and conceptual frame work of the study. Chapter two is the literature review which discusses about child abuse, psychological distress and juvenile delinquency and lastly the hypothesis. Chapter three is the methodology.en_US
