dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between ethical leadership, employee engagement, and job satisfaction among employees at Uganda prisons service. The study set out different objectives which included; to investigate the relationship between ethical leadership and employee engagement, to investigate the relationship between employee engagement and job satisfaction and also to examine the relationship between ethical leadership and job satisfaction. The study employed a cross sectional study design correlational in nature on the population of all employees at Uganda prisons service and the sample size was 70 respondents selected using convince sampling. Data analysis will be done using the statistical package for social sciences using different units of analysis. The data was summarized into frequency percentages tables for demographic data section and Pearson product moment correlation coefficient will be used to test the hypotheses. the study adopted a regression analysis as the study is basically two tailed study. Results of the study indicate that ethical leadership and employee engagement are not significantly related, employee engagement and job satisfaction are not significantly related and there is a significant relationship between ethical leadership and employee engagement. The study indicates the link between variables of ethical leadership, employee engagement and job satisfaction among employees at Uganda prisons service. Recommendations to the relevant bodies and management of Uganda prisons service have been stated well.
