dc.description.abstractThis study was initiated to investigate the relationship between job insecurity organizational justice and turnover intentions with Makerere University as the case study. The study adopted a correlational survey design. The study used a sample size of 100 respondents who were selected using the simple random sampling technique. Data for analysis was collected using a standard questionnaire designed by the researcher .Information obtained was analyzed quantitatively with the aid of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20. The study hypotheses were tested using Pearson’s (r) correlation coefficient and significance at the 99 -confident limit two tailed level). The results of the study were ,job insecurity and organizational justice are related ( r = ** 572 p = 0.001, 0rganisational justice and turnover intentions are significantly related ( r = 566 p = 0.001) and job insecurity and turnover intentions are significantly related ( r = 572 p = 0.01) following the above conclusion , the following recommendations were made ;More emphasis on treatment of employees with fairness, dignity and respect ,more procedures of enhancing job security eg ensuring a happy work environment.en_US
