The study aimed at examining the relationship between rewards, motivation and job performance among employees of UMEME Kitintale branch, Nakawa division. The study adopted a quantitative study design which was correlation in nature with a population of 110 employees. Simple random sampling technique was used to draw a sample of 86 respondents from the population. Data was collected from respondents using self-administered standard questionnaire and entered in the computer for analysis through Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software version 23. Descriptive statistics showed that 68.6% of the respondents were male and 31.4% were female, majority of the respondents were between 20-30 years (62.8%). Results from Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient (r) further indicated that there was a significant positive relationship between rewards and employee motivation, (r=.641**, p=.000), as well as a significant negative relationship between employee motivation and job performance, (r=-.417**, p=.000). However, there was no relationship between rewards and employee job performance, (r=.844, p=.-021). Therefore, the present study provides a basis and implications for further investigation on the relationship between rewards, motivation and job performance among UMEME employees in different branches in the country. It was recommended that the administration of UMEME, Kitintale branch should put in place better motivational strategies to improve employee job performance.en_US
