dc.description.abstractThe study aimed at examining the relationship between workplace learning, employee coaching and job performance among employees of ministry of lands. The study adopted a quantitative study design which was correlation in nature with a population of 120 employees. Simple random sampling technique was used to draw a sample of 92 respondents from the population. Data was collected from respondents using self-administered standard questionnaire and entered in the computer for analysis through Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software version 23. Descriptive statistics showed that 51.1% of the respondents were male and 48.9% were female, majority were between 35-40 years (33.7%). Results from Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient (r) further indicated that there was a significant positive relationship between work place learning and employee coaching, (r=.669**, p=.000), as well as a significant positive relationship between employee coaching and job performance, (r=.608**, p=.000), and there was also a significant positive relationship between work place learning and job performance among employees, (r=.584**, p=.000). Therefore, provides a basis and implications for further investigation on the relationship between work place learning, employee coaching and job performance among students in different fields in different ministries in Uganda. It was recommended that the management of ministry of lands should establish strategies of how to improve employee job performance through coaching as a work place learning method.en_US
