dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between job satisfactions, occupation stress and turn over intentions among employees of kakira sugar factory in Jinja district. The study adopted a correlation research design. A sample of 50 employees was selected using simple random sampling technique to participate in the study. Data was collected using self-administered questionnaires which were analyzed using statistical package for social science (SPSS). Results for Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient (r) indicated that job satisfaction and employee engagement are positively and significantly related(r=.293 at p=0.03<0.05), there was a negatively and significant relationship between employee engagement and turnover intentions and there was a negative and significant relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intentions. Therefore, recommendations to employers is that they should improve the working environments of their employees by ensuring effective working practices and make them succeed both individually and professionally.en_US
