dc.description.abstract | The study examined the relationship between Perceived Organizational Support, Job satisfaction and Organizational Commitment among employees in Microhaem Scientific and Medical Supplies Limited. It was intended to achieve the following objectives; to examine whether there is relationship between Perceived Organizational Support and Organization Commitment, to examine whether there is a relationship between Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment and to examine whether there is relationship between Perceived Organizational Support and Job satisfaction among employees/workers.
The study adopted a correlation study design. The study used 58 respondents and data was collected by use of a self-administered standard questionnaire. That data was then analyzed using statistical package for social science (SPSS) version 21. Hypothesis was tested using Pearson’s (r) Correlational Coefficient.
The results of the study were; there is negative significant relationship between Perceived organizational Support and job Satisfaction among workers (r= -.309*, p=.018) since (p=.018<0.05), that there is no significant relationship between Job Satisfaction and organizational Commitment among workers (r= -.158, p=.235) since (p=.235>0.05), there is a positive significant relationship between Perceived organizational Support and organizational Commitment (r=.722**, p=.000), since (p=.000<0.01). The study recommended addition of more employee recognition programs, more incentives offers and reduction of micro- management hence increased job satisfaction and organizational commitment. | en_US |
