dc.description.abstractThe study was about the relationship of plagiarism, motivation and how it affects students’ performance at the school of psychology Makerere University as the case study. The purpose of the study was to investigate the level of plagiarism among students, and the level of motivation how it impacted on academic performance. The study methodology was quantitative and a correlational research design was adopted. Simple random sampling techniques were used to select the sample from the target population and a sample size of 155respondents was used. Primary data was collected by the use of questionnaires which focused on answering the research questions. Secondary data was got from journals, articles, books, reports, and websites in relation to the study objectives. Data was represented in percentages. Data was analyzed using descriptive method. Pearson’sCorrelation Coefficient was calculated so to show the strength of the relationship between the variables and their impact on students.en_US
