dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between parenting styles, academic performance and juvenile delinquency among the youth in Kampala district. The specific objectives of the study are; to establish the relationship between parenting styles and academic performance among adolescents in Kampala district. To establish whether there is a significant relationship between juvenile delinquency and poor performance among adolescents in Kampala district and to establish if there is a significant the relationship between parenting styles and juvenile delinquency among adolescents in Kampala district. The study will be carried out in Kawempe Division in Kampala District, which is an area in the city of Kampala, Uganda's capital. The researcher will use simple random sampling technique to recruit participants into the study.en_US
