Occupational Stress, Employee Turnover Intentions and Organizational Performance
Abstract
The purpose of the study was to find out whether occupational stress, employee turnover intentions significantly influence organizational performance among the employees of silver springs hotel bugolobi.
The study adopted a correlation research design with a sample size of 80respondents. Data was analyses using a statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) computer programme. Results indicated that occupational stress and employee turnover intentions we related.
They also indicated that there is a significant relationship between occupational stress and organisational performance.
Employee turnover intentions are Al's dependent on each other, therefore organizations should carry out primary measures to reduce and eliminate occupational stress among employees and to attract employees not to leave the organization other than focusing on organisational performance only.
