dc.description.abstractThe study aimed at establishing the relationship between employee motivation, Organizational commitment and Job performance. The study objective were to establish whether employee motivation and Organizational Commitment are related; to examine whether Organizational commitment and job performance is significantly related; to examine whether employee motivation and job performance are significantly related. Standardized self-administered questionnaires were used collect data from the respondents. A sample size of 40 respondents was used and non-random sampling technique was used. Data was analysed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) from where frequency percentage tables were used to analyze bio data and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficients employed to test the study hypothesis. The first findings revealed that is a negative significant relationship between employee motivation and Organizational Commitment at (r=- .138*, p=0.001) ; the second findings revealed that there is no significant relationship between employee motivation and job performance at (r= 0.305 and p=0.021) and third findings revealed that there is no significant relationship between organizational commitment and job performance ( r=0.346, p=0.011). It is concluded that employee motivation has got a negative impact on organizational commitment since many health workers leave the organisation because of competition in the medical field which increases health worker’s turnover hence affecting job performanceen_US
