Organizational compassion, employee engagement and employee motivation among teachers of Grace Kindergarten and Primary School Nansana Ganda
Abstract
The purpose of the study was aimed to investigate the effect of organization compassion, employee engagement on employee motivation among teachers at Grace kindergten and primary school in Nansana . The study adopted a quantitative study design which was correlation in nature with a population of 40 employees, A simple random sampling technique was used to draw a sample of 30 respondents from the population .Data was collected from respondents using a self –administered standard questionnaire and entered in the computer forvanalysis through statistical package or social science ( SPSS) software version 23. Descriptive statistics showed that 73.3% of the respondents were female and 26.7% were male , majority were between the age bracket 18-30 years(53.3%), majority were married (60.0%) ,Results from Pearson product – moment correlation coefficient (r) further indicated that there was positive relationship between organizational compassion and employee engagement (r=.430**,p=.000),there was a significant positive relationship between organizational compassion and employee motivation ( r=.363**,p=.000) as well employee engagement and employee motivation(r=.355**,p=.000).therefore , the present provides a basis that there is a relationship between organizational compassion ,employee engagement ,employee motivation
