The relationship between motivation, training and employee performance among the staff of Century Bottling Company.
Abstract
This study was carried out to investigate the relationship between motivation, training
and performance of employees in century bottling company The study was guided by three
objectives as follows; to find out the relationship between motivation and training, to find out
the relationship between training and employee performance and finally to determine if there
is a significant relationship between motivation and performance of employees of century
bottling company .The study applied a descriptive and correlational research design to obtain
the required information and pertaining data where the target population of the study was 100
from which 70 respondents were selected to receive the pertaining information. The study
revealed that there is a strong relationship between motivation and employees’ performance,
training and employee performance and training and motivation in century bottling company.
In regard to the findings, the researcher recommended that policy makers such as the
government and management to should put realistic policies for employees to follow and also
management should motivate their employees in terms of salary so that they perform to their
best.
